At what age did you decide to pursue a medical career and why?
A.
As a high school student I enjoyed the life sciences and its applications to medicine.

What are your particular interests within your specialty?
A.
Travel medicine and treating critically ill patients.

What are your interests outside of work?
A.
My newborn, tennis, gardening and my two golden retrievers.
 
Q.
What’s the best part about being a physician?
A.
Seeing the very sick, complicated patients in the hospital and then following up with them in the office. It’s very rewarding to help them recover and resume normal life activities.
