Dialogue
Q.
At what age did you decide to pursue a medical career and why?
A.
My father was a pediatrician and I grew up liking the idea of pursuingmedicine and becoming a physician.
Q.
What are your particular interests within your specialty?
A.
Weight loss surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and revisional weight loss surgery.
Q.
What are your interests outside of work?
A.
Classical music, traveling and history.
Q.
What’s the best part about being a physician?
A.
The best part about being a physician is to know that I can make a huge impact on someone’s life and to know that I was able to do that for them. I see my patients after a year and they are so thankful and grateful for how I have helped change their lives. We have several support meetings for our patients after surgery and it turns into one big party as everyone is so appreciative.
