Dialogue
Q.
At what age did you decide to pursue a medical career and why?
A.
When I was 12 my father was stabbed. It was an emergency situation and I’ve been intrigued by medicine ever since. When he came home from the hospital I was the only one who could change the dressings because no one else was able to look at the wound.

Q
What are your particular interests within your specialty?
A.
Working in the pediatric emergency department (KidsCARE) taking care of children - especially infants.

Q.
What are your interests outside of work?
A.
Spending time with my family, which includes three young boys and frequent travel.

Q.
What’s the best part about being a physician?
A.
When I receive a card or picture from a child saying thank you it really makes my day.
