Pastoral Care Services - Meet the Chaplain

Carol Wille, Potomac Hospital

Chaplain Carol Wille came to Potomac in January 2007 after four years as a staff chaplain at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Eugene, Oregon. While at Sacred Heart she offered pastoral support to patients and families in Women’s Services, Pediatrics and the Cardiac Unit. Before that, she was a staff chaplain in Buffalo, New York, at Sisters of Charity Hospital. She obtained her master’s degree in clinical pastoral ministry from Christ the King Seminary in East Aurora, New York, and received her bachelor’s from George Mason University.

“I had a successful career in sales and human resources, but one day God spun me around and pointed me in the direction of clinical pastoral care,” says Chaplain Wille.

Pastoral Care Program Serves All

The hospital’s Pastoral Care Services is a nondenominational service available to all patients. Chaplain Wille and her team of volunteer chaplains provide nondenominational, inclusive spiritual pastoral care to everyone. For more information about Potomac's Pastoral Care Services, please call Chaplain Carol Wille at (703) 583-3003 or (540) 659-1800, ext. 3003.
