Looking for an educational camp for your middle schooler this summer? Potomac Hospital’s Discover Nursing Camp may be just what you’re looking for. This camp is for rising middle school students (6th, 7th or 8th grade students beginning September 2009) and is designed to introduce young people to a career in the medical field.

Campers will learn CPR & basic nursing skills, tour different nursing departments and shadow nurses in clinical areas. The camp’s curriculum emphasizes hands on experiences and active learning geared to the campers’ age level. A copy of your child’s immunization record will be required for participation. Repeat campers are not eligible.
