Forest Park Students and Staff Knit for Potomac Hospital’s Smallest Patients

Potomac Hospital’s Worship Room
In an effort to give back to the community, seven students and 10 staff members of Forest Park High School donated over 100 hand-made baby hats, booties, blankets, and slippers to Potomac Hospital’s newborn nursery. Led by guidance counselor Jeanie Terry, the group has been dubbed “Bruin Crafters at the Park.”

“We are so very grateful for these beautiful items for our babies,” says Michele Musella, director of Women’s and Children’s Services at Potomac Hospital. “The babies will be warm and will look great too! The fact that they’re all hand-made makes this donation even more special. We thank the Forest Park knitters from the bottom of our hearts.”
