New Intensive Care Director Named at Potomac Hospital

Carmalina “Pepper” Hembrey, R.N., BSN, has been named director of Potomac Hospital’s Intensive Care and Intermediate Care Units. Hembrey graduated from the University of Texas, El Paso, with a bachelor’s degree in Nursing and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in Nursing at George Mason University. Hembrey was previously the assistant director of ICU/IMCU for three years and a nurse clinician for four years at Potomac. Prior to joining Potomac, she held a variety of administrative and clinical positions in the critical care and sub-acute care areas at Providence Hospital and Fredericksburg Nursing and Rehabilitation.
