The Cancer Center at Potomac Hospital offers a full spectrum of services close to home, so that patients do not have to spend valuable time traveling for treatment.
The Cancer Center is equipped to provide the four main treatment options - surgery, chemotherapy, state-of-the-art radiation treatment, and interventional radiology. Potomac Radiation Oncology Center offers the latest digitally computerized equipment including a linear accelerator and simulator, which help doctors pinpoint the exact area for radiation treatment.
Cancer patients and their families benefit from several educational and support programs. Several cancer support groups meet monthly and enable patients and families to learn more about their disease.
