Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehab

(703) 670-1881 or (540) 659-1800, Ext. 1881

Potomac Hospital offers cardiac rehabilitation to clients who have heart disease and/or have undergone heart surgery. Pulmonary rehabilitation is offered to clients with a history of pulmonary disease.

Clients attend exercise sessions and educational sessions three times a week and are supervised by trained rehabilitation nurses. We also offer a Heart to Heart Support Group, for people with heart disease and their families, and a Pulmonary Rehabilitation Support Group for those who have pulmonary disease.

Potomac's Cardiac and Pulmonary Rehabilitation Programs are certified by the American Association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation (AACVPR). Certification by AACVPR recognizes programs that are rigorously reviewed by a national board and found to meet essential requirements for standards of care.
