Touting Our Team

Providing outstanding customer service is the goal of the entire Potomac Hospital team. Visitors and patients are encouraged to provide feedback by completing recognition forms to acknowledge team members who go above and beyond their regular duties. Touting Our Team recognizes employees who’ve received multiple nominations.

Dialogue
Q.
What do you like most about being part of the Potomac Hospital team?
A.
I know the biggest difference we make in this world starts in our homes and our neighborhoods. Being part of the team allows me to contribute to my community.

Q.
What motivates you each day to provide exceptional customer service?
A.
“This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness.” (Lama)  Secondly, “We can do no great things; only small things with great love” (Mother Teresa).

Q.
What do you like to do when you are not at work?
A.
I like to catch up with my friends over a cup of coffee, play bingo and dream of winning it big. I enjoy seeing a good movie with my husband and most of all being around family during the holidays.

Q.
Who is an inspiration to you and why?
A.

My inspiration comes from my coworkers. Each one of us has a unique style that makes a difference to patients and/or patients’ families. Working with my coworkers reminds me to never underestimate the difference I can make! It’s human nature to copy others. People always watch what other people do. Setting an example of good makes a difference.
